so im going to a local show on sunday and want to put him in best turned out,he is a gelderlander and as you can see from my sig a chunky one at that !!
now do i have to cut feathers off and trim ears and whiskers ?
i dont really want to do feathers but if i have to for the class then i will

what else will i have to do for the class as i havnt done a show for about 16 years !! it will be our first show together as well !!!!!

I don't know what the 'official' best turned out is, but the driving people clip the gelderlanders lower legs, the 'wrong' way on the socks to gte the hair as short as poss, the correct way from the sock to knee and blended around the knee. By getting the hair as short as possbable it makes it easier to clean to get them white, and the chalk apparently sticks better!
Whiskers should be fine to leave, as long as you clip any beard he may have, and the ears do need doing!
