Just a quick one : Riding Horse Turnout ??!

Says it in the title really, I know obviously plaited, and fancy browband but what colour jacket??

Tweed or Navy?

I've had people tell me both but really not sure?

Definately tweed. Blue is only really correct for hacks and various pony classes or evening championships where the rider wears a top hat.

If at the end of the day though you only have a blue jacket wear it and don't worry! I won a lot of riding horse classes at local level wearing a black jacket which is totally wrong!

i did v local riding horse in a tweed - came 4th out of about 18... pretty sure the winners were also in tweed too....
but i bet there's a proper showing person on here who'll tell you more presicely lol!

Absolutely, definitely tweed!

It can actually be either, a lot wear navy, it just depends on the level.
