im glad he's home too. I had the mum texting me today too - bit more amicable, shes not calling me names and threatening me with the police
However is once again saying how he is not in a bad condition, was loved and she was going to buy him off me on friday.. so mother like daughter when it comes to verbal tosh.
He's home, they cant touch him and thats the main thing so I am happy he is safe. Im not so happy about the farrier work Im going to have pay out for and having to have someone out to sort his back and the cost of yesterdays vet visit and the antibiotics and ointment for his conjunctivitis (if they want the vet report they can have the vet bill too!)
Someone asked for some before pictures....
First is from 2010, this was jan/feb time, he was the fittest I ever had him as I had him in livery and I had facilities!!!!!
...
The next ones are from about June and August last summer, first one is him the first day on the new grass, before this he was on a billiard board field but had tons of hay and hard feed. We were only hacking due to my gammy knee..
The second is the August one, had a bit of time on the good grazing and was just being hacked out. (The pally is shaking at the time of photo so her neck look enormous - but yes she was a fatty bum-bum shaking or no shaking!!)
When he left me this year to go on loan, its was the 3rd March. He hadnt been ridden since about october other than a few potters around the muddy fields due to me being at uni and it always being dark by the time I got home. So he had lost a touch of condition - with muscle wastage and just coming through winter I should think you could see maybe 2 ribs possibly 3 ribs and he had lost some muscle over his back. Nothing that I would feel bad about and a couple of weeks on spring grass wouldnt fix
