Has anyone been to the Yorkshire Riding Centre (YRC) on any of their flatwork or jumping 3 or 5 day courses ?. Could you let me know what you think to the instructors and horses used. PM me if you prefer.

Also looking at Oldencraig or Talland for 3 day intensive course. Need it !!

I went to Talland for a lesson on an advanced schoolmaster last week and can safely say it was the best lesson I think I've ever had! Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I'm planning to do an intensive 3 day course down there as and when I get a new horse.

I'm planning to go to Talland for a week or so Sept/Oct. I need to make up for lost time spent with my arm in a caste this summer. A couple of people rated it in an earlier post. If you go there can you let me know how you get on?

I have a friend who went to Yorkshire Riding Centre and said it was great, it's just a little too far for me.

Oldencraig is our nearest show centre. The facilities are great and it's well maintained but I don't know anyone who's trained there.

That's the order I'd rate them in from personal recommendations over the years. Have heard very mixed things about the tution at Oldencraig

It is Chris Bartle's place yes. Need to go over a long weekend and unfortunately YRC tend to do Mon-Fri.
