Bloody horses.
Darling Jelly has grown so much in 2 months that now her saddle is completely ill fitting and far too narrow. The saddler can't come out for 2 weeks, and the physio is also busy for 2 weeks.
I'm obviously going to keep her fit by doing groundwork with her as much as I can however I'm worried she is going to lose all of the muscle she has built up, and therefore not need the saddle adjusting anymore. It's a never ending cycle! That will teach me not to think ahead and have the saddler booked in advance.
And in the meantime, I am going to end up having to do actual exercise to keep fit instead of riding. Pass me the wine and cake!!
