I bring you pictures - lots of pictures!
As you can see, the Camel Horse has acquired a new friend. Meet Arthur
Around 15hh of perfect gentleman. He arrived yesterday, after an eighty mile journey, and is settling in very nicely indeed. He is aged fifteen, and has been a trotter and a riding horse previously. He has been out of work for about a year and a half now, so please excuse his current lack of top line. It's on the list of things to do, along with teeth, back and feet etc.
This was him in his stable - please excuse the old name plaque on the door!
At liberty together in the huge field today. I really do need a better camera.
And of course, the Camel Horse himself mustnt forget his close-up!
My plan is to ride Arthur whilst the Camel Horse finishes growing. If indeed he ever finishes he is aiming for tallest Connemara ever, and at this rate I shall need not only a step ladder but also an oxygen tank...
