A bit of background first

. Sat watching a two star, having just read a post below (can't remember the title). Asked hubby if he would mind Daughter jumping that kind of course, and he said No, if that's what she wants to do.

Now, bearing in mind that he was rather upset when I was lying on a hospital bed and people were talking of drilling holes in my head (okay, I exagerate, probably only one hole), I asked if he minded if I did it (don't all fall about laughing at once

). He surprised me by saying that he didn't mind.

So, either he's increased the life insurance on me, or he's comfortable that the chances of me doing it are negligable!!!

I think it's the latter

Pointless post. Maybe I need more caffeine

Edited as I have not yet had the caffeine!

My husband worries about me every time I get on the horse, if I am late back from a hack, he calls me, or he is outside waiting for me. He says he trusts my horse (who he loves) to look after me, but he does not trust the nutters driving on the roads.

Perhaps he's just resigned himself to the fact that we just do what we like anyway whatever men say!

Lol, more than likely

.

Though I wonder what I'd do if he actually asked me not to do it...

I'm in a contemplative mood this morning (would be far mor constructive if it were a work mood!

Ok lets just get one thing straight here Mrs M.

You were talking to him while he was watching TV, now it doesn't matter if the programme you were watching was actually linked to the subject in relation to your question, basically men are incapable of doing two things at any one given time, therefore processing information and getting a logical reply was if where honest.... virtually impossible.

AND specially (this is when you should of known better) when the subject is horse related, a mans brain automatically switches off through mid conversation, even if he's not doing two things at once.

I suggest you sit him down in a very quiet dark and empty room, get his full attention and ask him again or check you life insurance!

a bit and said no that was fine.
