I just returned from a friends house who keeps minis.
She is somewhat disabled as is her husband and thier new weanling colt was on a rampage and would not be caught. He was never handled prior to two days ago.
It was hysetrical trying to run around 5 acres in an attempt to catch him
I was going back and forth and at one point felt like I should be winning ribbons for my amazing cutting skills
I was finally able to get him by catching the mare he came with and slowly getting up to him and grabbing the little sucker.
All he(( broke loose then and it was a rodeo. I finally got him calmed down and worked with him for about half an hour.
In the end he was calm and leading on the line
Not sure I would want to be doing the same with a wild Clydesdale weanling
suppose I should not get such a big head yet eh?
