Aww Patches - you really would adore Golden. I am sure it is because of her that I have managed to get over my "issues" with palominos. She is just the kindest mare and I really have a connection with her; I actually think that at some point she could catch up with how I feel about my lovely Oscar

Yes; Sun-something, were our thoughts earlier. Just not sure what though - hubby loves Sundance....and I have a funny feeling he may actually have more to do with this horse than anyone else in the family since I sold his huge Spotty Horse

Thanks Casey and PBS. I don't know how long we will have him but I also hope we enjoy him. He seems perfect....who knows, we'll find out tomorrow, LOL!!

All of my boarders are planning to come up and see him LOL!! I hadn't told anyone about him as I was actually looking to buy him for someone else...although I hadn't told her either! Well on the way home I said to hubby what do you think? He said "I think we need to keep him and find friend something else" LOL!!

The reason I was looking for my friend is that she is really badgering me about buying my Oscar......but I just can't sell him right now

Ahh but I can always get around the 13 number...as one of my horses is on loan to one of my boarders....so when I get to around this number I just either knock him off the tally......or include him!

Megan really wants to call him Teddy, as in teddy-bear. He does look like a teddy bear I have to say. Enfys, you would probably find him too "safe". He's a VERY quiet horse.....pretty nicely trained, but quiet.
 
I like the name Bailey too; unfortunately I couldn't use it as I would think of Patches Bailey all the time....seems wrong somehow. Anyway hubby really thinks it should be a western type name.

You already have a Polar, go with the bear theme?
Oh, next pony isn't for me. Evie wants something quiet that she can get on, ride to a friends house and leave standing in the garden for 2 hours, or dress up, or use as a tent frame, that's the sort of quiet she wants. We sold the turbo charged Cooper so are in the market again.
 
lovely horse, I love that shade of palomino, I know palominos called Barley and Bewie (short for Drambewie), also like Sundance, I suppose it depends what suits him!!
 
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. We are planning to go and collect him at midday and I am very much looking forward to seeing him settle in at home with us.

I believe the name has been chosen; Sundance it is. Thank you all.
