EDIT *title meant to say came not cam!!

was walking my two dogs with a friend and her two. we both have one who doesn't get along with other dogs who they dont know.
sooo happily walking along, see this black lab puppy appear from no where, call our dogs back and put them on the lead. we waited untill we could see owner and go the opposite way to them to cause no stress/problems. posh looking man appears and starts coming towards us so we go off the path and into the woods and do a sort of circle so we can get back on the path past him etc (this is probably making no sense- basically we were giving him & his dog lots of space to cause no problems). Anyway, he starts following us into the woods and round back onto the path, we are thinking what the hell is he doing?! puppy is running after us, im trying to keep the attention of my dog and walk faster and get puppy away. man says nothing and can clearly see my dog growling/barking at his puppy. he still says nothing. just carries on walking behind us. my dog was getting so stressed out and of course I didnt want puppy to be frightened so I shouted at the man "can you please call your dog". still nothing. then with no effort at all says "come" and puppy just ignores. man then turns around and goes back other way without saying another word

it was really weird/creepy/annoying/stressful. I can only guess he wanted to socialize his puppy but obviously not the best idea with 2 dogs gowling/barking at said puppy. ugh i really do wonder what does through peoples minds!!

Must be a day for it! I met a professional dog walker this morning, my spaniel was on a lead, 6 dogs bounded up to her and started jumping all over her... dog walker couldn't get them back, 1 small dog in particular was quite yappy and mouthy, apparently she was young. Out of the 6 dogs 1 was on a lead and the others' recall didn't seem overly great :( It's a good job my dog is good with other dogs, she's just on a lead as once she's seen water she is in it and a nightmare to get out (we were walking round a reservoir) but she doesn't like lots of dogs coming up to her whilst on the lead, which is understandable. The dog walker did try to get them back on a lead but wasn't very successful :(
