just curious - horse turn out activity

Turned my mare out this morning into her field and she just wondered ofc as usual muching away on the grass and then all of a sudden she starts bonking and trotting round really fast i assume she was just exciting but i just wobdered what everyone elses horse was in there turn out first thing?

Mine usually just wanders off, though sometimes we get handstands accompanied by coarse farting which then requires a hoon around the field.

Mine walks in calmly, stays by the gate until my mum let's her horse go .. Mums horse then squeals/bucks/farts and gallops off and mysti canters down to join her

My TB mare walks about 6ft inside gate, has a wee, looks around to see where the others are then starts eating. Even if the others are the other end of the 8acre field, she rarely charges off to see them, eating is far more important to her than running around. I bet even when she was racing she wanted to stop and eat half way round - she certainly never won anything!
