Just curious ..... stable name plates

Morning everyone, Just a little post. I was wondering what names you guys have on your stable doors. Show names or everyday names?? After 7 years of the name plate being on my "to do" list I thought it was about time I did it. So "Geni" or "Pure Genius"? xx

I have the everyday name, my OH made Harry a lovely sign out of some old wood that was dumped in his stable, varnished it and everything! Tis quite impressive hehe!

Top line in big letters is 'Genie'
Bottom line in brackets and script is 'Miss Congeniality'

Bought it for £13.50 on ebay!

Not got one yet. My OH brother is an engraver so will do mine, but Ill be having Cato on it.. as if it said Catotonic, peoplemight start talking.

Stable name.

I don't have name plates, just numbers chalked on the door

I have a floating population and I'd spend all my time making new plates up. My horses go in whichever room is empty at the time.

They don't care, when they go in a stall there is always a handful of grain in a bowl for them. The only horse that has his own is Zeus as he gets a bit excited if he's put somewhere that a mare has been in, but even he doesn't have a name plate. Poor deprived horses.
