Last October I posted on here PTS or turn away?
I rested my horse who had been suffering hind limb ataxia, no real cause found but suspect a spinal 'bruising' from a fall in the field??
He had time off from Oct to Feb and also moved to a better yard with nicer facilities and a much better routine.
On Sunday we went out for a three hour hack, he was full of it, not stiff today when I rode him for a gentle half hour in the school.
Just so happy my boy is back

Great hack! Chilled out pony! Love that little horse so much, even with his COPD, boxy feet and dodgy back leg! Amazing what love and perserverance can do!

This is one of my favourite HHO threads ever. It must feel so good to be hacking your nearly written off horse and he's staying sound!

Thank you faracat. I am one happy owner. We may never jump or do any dressage again but as long as I can ride I am happy. He is so precious. Love the furry faced little chap!
