Yes… and it didn’t work out. I was looking for a second horse and kept saying my dream would be a slightly more blood, young, spit image of my current gelding with as much history known as possible. Well that dream horse found me, and I couldn’t believe it. We nicknamed him the “goodest boy” as he was a Labrador in all ways.

Unfortunately after less than a year together and various investigations he was destined for a lighter lifestyle than I intended him to have. But how he found his next home was also interesting… they went to view a horse at my friends next door. The horse wasn’t for them and they mentioned all they wanted was a loveable Labrador-type to hack around. Friend said she knew of the perfect horse. Cue a quick call to me and they came to see him immediately. Came back to try and showed them his passport and they welled up. Their previous horse, who was adored, had the same bloodlines. When they rode a rainbow came out, which they went on to say happened when their previous horse had been PTS.

I maintain that horse was meant to go on that journey to them… however heart breaking it was for me!
