As the title says really... I'm feeling a little sorry for myself today and could do with cheering up with some pony love. What are your favourite photos of your horse? Up to 6 (only saying that as I could go on forever). I know there are probably many of these threads already but, as mentioned, I could do with a smile :)

This is Chilli, a TB mare who I am lucky enough to have on full loan.

Pretty girl with some plaits in, chosen simply because she is so beautiful:

Mrs Mop looking keen and ready for some ShowCross, chosen because I swallowed my nerves to complete the course even after she smacked me in the face twice in the warm up, leaving me dazed and struggling to remember the course, nearly sat on me when she spooked at something (causing me to fall off) and two days before had broken my toes! :D

This one, because I think she looks pretty smart!

This pic, because I remember that on the day it was taken I really pushed myself to ride like I knew I could! And so had some great results...
13718530_610581695768148_9015340700511308143_n.jpg

This one, as I think she looks particularly gorgeous!
13876702_613956255430692_5486762677948443583_n.jpg

And finally, this one. I remember it was really quiet and I found myself in a moment of calm and contentment which is pretty rare for me. It has cheered me up just looking at it...

So, if any of you have fave pics please share them as I'd love to see them! Oh, and it would be a little embarrassing if nobody replied ;)

Lovely photos!!

This because it speaks more about our relationship than I could put into words.

This because it reminds me how far he has come..

This because it's such a wonderful contrast to the last photo

And these two because of my grin, and the fact that I think he looks beautiful!

This one as he was my horse of a lifetime and we did so much together. Was a very sad day when I lost him to a field injury.

This one because I bought him a few years ago and haven't achieved anything at all, mainly due to his wobblers condition but I do adore him and his lovable character.

And finally my current horse, who is an absolute star and hopefully will continue to be.

I don't have a great deal of photos on Photobucket but have some lovely field & group ones.

Ah, I do love a good picture thread, they give us the opportunity to share memories of our best times with our lovely horses

This is my lovely Alex looking very chuffed with himself after winning a little jumping competition. He's got a bit of arthritis so doesn't do much jumping and certainly not at height but he loves having a go when the conditions are right.

And one of his handsome self at liberty on a summer evening

Me and my beautiful Maggie, I lost her last April to EAM. She was truly a 1:1m horse, wise, kind, funny. All I had to do was enjoy her and stay out of her way when we rode together. She was older and had some wear and tear but honestly I wouldn't have traded her for a stable full of the finest, fittest horses in this world.

And my Tb, the little red fella Basil. He's been retired 2 years due to arthritis, he is the boss man despite being much smaller than Alex

Lots of lovely, kind looking horses here, your current horse has quite the jump!

Yes, he is very light on his feet. The first horse jumped fab too but not so easy inbetween the fences as was very downhill and heavy - taught me to sit up!

Loving the photo of the PRE.

Thank you! I think that will be one that gets me through the coming winter, you know when you start flicking through your photos just to remind yourself that it was actually warm and dry once :)

My first horse, loved her to bits and still miss her several years on. Not many pics to choose from as it was in the days before camera phones and taking pics of everything.

My second horse, the big ginger. Talented but we had lots of ups and downs although he taught me loads. He was however a real sweety and generally lovely dude. Was gutted when he was injured as there was so much more to come. Think I was making up for lost time as have so many pics of him.

This because after being off for a while treating his stifles, this was our first time out jumping a course. It all started to come together and although the fence is small it’s perfect.

Because he was a dude.

And I just love this.

And my current mare. Only had her 6 months so finding our way around each other but I'm really fond of her. She is only 5 and I'm still finding out her personality but we are getting along well. Not many pics really, she isn’t as photogenic as my ginger boy and spends most of her life looking like a tired donkey.
This so far is my favourite.

Archie - Never has one photo described one horse so completely!

Reminds me of the good old days when he was allowed to jump and I was thin(ish)

Monty - the only horse I have enough confidence in to do this with. This was my first time on an XC course in 2 years and I loved every second.

Love how eager he looks in this one...and I have semi decent clothes on for once!

And Eb, just because he was my horse of a lifetime

Greylegs, your pony is beautiful, I would be after a painting of that picture it is stunning.

I have one or two favourite pictures.

This is Adorable Alice and her mum.

This makes me smile, again it is Alice.

My champion show hunter, the best horse I have ever had the honour to own. A total gentleman in all ways and time is ticking away for him now, I so wish they live longer.

I do own this picture and it has appeared in HH, so no issues about using it on here.

The feral foal, the cause of much despair, huge cost, blood, sweat, tears and finally huge pride.

The end result

and finally my cob who carried me without question whilst I was so ill. I hung onto a neck strap and her mane, I was poorly whilst on her more than once, she knew I was feeble but never frightened me. She is actually a pocket rocket prone to bouncing around like a giant tigger, but she sensed all was not well for 12 months and looked after me so carefully, she is a funny character but much loved and only purchased in 2012 after the forum persuaded me to have her.

Martha!! AA we don't get nearly enough photos of her....

This was my horse of a lifetime, very sadly sold last year due to ill health:

This next one sums him up completely - unsure but totally genuine

Totally off subject but found this in my photobucket, this was at a car rally back in Surrey:
