He looks black from a distance but its black with tiny grey flecks in, black legs, you get a shimmer of brown in summer in his coat, his mane and tail is silver.
Some might say he's steel grey, some may say he's a roan...god knows
just the 1 chestnut - although it's the first time in my life I haven't had a coloured. Previous one was dun broken coloured (very striking!) and before that skewbald (well, technically tricoloured). And I want another coloured horse!!!
Would certainly change that bar graph if it could take into account multiple horses of each colour...
We have about 20odd bays, 2 perlinos, a cremello, a black buckskin, a pally, a liver chestnut, two "plain red" chestnuts and a couple of greys, one of whom is actually a chestnut overo paint gone grey, a couple of roans a snowcap appy and a varnish appy......and a bunch we will out what colour they are real soon....when their mums evict them!
