Yup, I've been in the same clothes all day, done morning yard, shopping, school run, afternoon yard, had a friend round for dinner - still in grungy clothes!
Yep and really must put my jods in the wash as worn them for a week and are minging. It just seems pointless when its only me that sees them. Am on an economy drive with everything. House is cold, as refusing to pay for oil this year as we did £300 in 3 weeks, so back to old fashioned ways wrap up with layers and keep warm, mud is an extra layer after all
Hahaha also points out that no one has planned to go out on a friday night. I had the do the horses need haylage or shall I go out on the p**s debate, guess what im in
But I always feel its a bit wrong when you find straw in you bra before going to bed lol
Posh clothes today as been out, but usually would be in pongy jods. I also sleep in my clothes at the moment because a, the house is freezing and b, my Grandmother keeps pressing the lifeline in the middle of the night so I have to get up and drive over to see her! (She has dementia)
I have gotten better at changing when I get in but I'm cleaning tack & boots for hunting tomorrow so seems silly to change into non-horsey clothes and get them all covered in soap and boot polish

[/ QUOTE ]Poor old gran, bet she doesnt complain about smelly jodhs. Lucky to have you as well.In short, you are officially excused of HHO skankdom.
me (kind of) I have pj bottoms on and a joules t shirt and jumper that I wore at the yard today. I changed my breeches, and showered the carpet with pony nuts!
Got in from yard at 9, and still have lovely horse poo aroma. Must go and do this months washing up!!! Are we all skankers in the winter as it is too bl**dy cold to care! Horses stables are pristine & my house looks like a barn! If I hoover up all the bedding I bring home I could lay down a new bed for my horse.
Dont forget those week old mingy jods have got to go back on in 7 hours!!!!! Yuk!!! Glad we all smell the same so no one can tell if you are a skanker.
Well, at least we are all honest ladies! I fust feel sorry for all the innocent people that share houses with us, we must stink and trail dirt and they still put up with us!
Im in breeches and a smelly old jumper! Was out of the house at half 6 as had 13 to feed and muck out. Just come back in the house for a cup of coffee and a mooch on here, off out again in a minute to hold horses for farrier and ride, will be looking and smelling like crap all day - no change there then
...... can you see me with your all seeing eyes then?? I was back from the yard about 9.30am and didn't bother changing as was really hungry so had breakfast. Then was going shopping with OH but couldn't be bothered to get changed and didn't want to get another set of clothes damp. Now back from shopping, don't need to get changed to sit on here, and then it will be time to go back to the yard! However, in sympathy with the fact that my OH is not horsey at all I do wear overalls at the yard these days so clothes are not quite as skanky as they used to be.
I did a dressage test earlier so I'm sat here in my comp brecches, shirt, tie and a jumper I wore around the yard.
I really should be getting ready to go out ...
Sometimes I feel like wearing breeches to school but I might get laughed at lots
