If you could have any mare and any stallion and be able to breed whatever you want for yourself what would you breed?
Note this would be breeding for yourself not to sell :)
I would love to have a quality cob mare and I'm not sure about the stallion,I would have to research but something along the lines of another quality cob/friesian/other heavy breed or a warmblood :)
Would love to breed my own to keep as he/she would be my baby and I don't think I could sell them anyway whatever the outcome as I am too soppy :p
I don't agree with indiscriminate breeding or breeding for the sake of it or anything but if it is for yourself and to keep forever I think that's alright obviously only from quality horses :D

I would use my id x mare purely because her temperament is wonderful, has good conformation/movement, the stallion would have to be along the cavalier lines , as ive had a cavalier horse before, so yep thats my ideal, again not a fan of indiscriminate breeding I wouldnt breed on just a whim like some people ive come across
 
Bah posted too soon..like some people ive come across in rl lately, then are desperate to sell the foal as its too much hard work/cost :(
 
If money were no object (this is purely hypothetical it could never happen! :P) i would have had a foal from Blu Hors Matine, i fell in love with that mare after i saw her performance at WEG 2006! So sad that she passed away :(
Not a clue on what stallion i'd use, probably something equally as talented!

In an ideal world! :D
 
My mare x Milton, his talent & her temperament so I could ride it, & my mare x totillas, same reason.
And if I'm going to be that unrealistic, daughters dainty 11.1 x a biggish racing sire so I could have a bigger version of her to whiz about on, she looks so fun.
