Just found this on our hack, is it a fox or a dog , warning pic

Arrrr it be a Werewolf marm, there be evil afoot, if ye touched it you be cursed and turn into a Werewolf yoursen on a full moon EEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL:D

Oooh cool!

I love stuff like this, in the museum at uni there's a whole gorilla skeleton that's awesome :D
And a load of stuffed ones and skulls. I love the polar bear skull and the crocodile and the monkeys :p
And there's a person skeleton but she freaks me out a bit :p

But as zoologists we think nothing of having lectures in there, and we have an exam about identifying some of the skulls too so we have to pay attention!

We have an entire anatomy museum consisting of an entire polar bear, elephant skulls, Eclipse the race horse, and all manner of other things. I used to draw the different skulls in the lecture theatres instead of paying attention to the speakers...

PMP - I am familiar with both greyhound and fox skulls in the flesh (or bone, as it were) and from the OP's photos I am unconvinced - however, she can see it in the flesh and I am inclined to believe her if she goes for fox. Personally, as I said, I wouldn't put money on it without seeing it fully cleaned up from a number of angles - certain aspects of the original photos aren't clear enough for a proper identification imho.

I would let it decompose naturally might take some time. Nice shotgun cartridge....poor thing whatever it was!! I sometimes hear them going off and hate meeting people carrying guns out and about(especially if I dont know who they are).

Am always expecting stray bullet to come flying past. Deer shooting going on our way at moment. Lots of legs lying around.

^^^ don't worry it was not that cartridge that did the deed, it was left in the field from a shoot we had so was the closest thing to hand to show the scale :)

And they don't have a bullet in them, lots if little lead balls inside those cartridges.

:)
