Hi all,
Normally lurk in the horsey bit but think I need your help!!
Ok here goes - My OH is the local gardener and was offered a spaniel on Monday. Dog is 9, been a working dog all its life a bit stiff in one of its back legs so ready to retire have snuggles etc. We already have a fox hound x beagle, no one at the dogs trust would have him as they are against hunting blah blah blah.
So OH does occasionally go shooting and beagle x is way way too hyper so we have taken the spaniel. Well he is the softest dog in the whole world!! Very honest and just wants to sit on your feet all the time. I have (hope this is right) ordered some dog cortaflex this morning to try and ease his joints.
Are there any tips/hints that we should know/consider whilst he is here (hopefully forever, but on 2 weeeks trial). There were no whoopsys this morning in the kitchen overnight. Is it worth putting him on Cod liver oil too??
Thank you all in advance
Jo
