The OP had wanted it to be taken down. Sometimes admin agree to this, sometimes they don't. I dont think that the thread got nasty as such, more cynical and/or despairing.

I hope that it was a fake post, but the gofund me link is still live...

So there is nothing to confirm that the poster is a real person or the horse a real horse, then? I hope it isn't for its own sake.

I think it’s pretty safe to say it was a scam, there’s an inconsistent sob story, and how many people put up go fund pages invite this forum, very suspect. Lots of holes in her story

Including how long the horse has been in its new home, which varied from 2 weeks to since January
