Hi all, I posted a few days ago regarding advice on moving my pony to a new yard. In short she won't load, isn't brilliant on the roads and I haven't ridden her for a couple of months!

Anyway, WE DID IT!! Got to the old yard for six, gave her a NAF magic calmer, tacked her up, OH came down on his push bike and away we went!

Only had a couple of hairy moments, I now know she's not keen on ducks and I had to get off to cross the main road

But other than that she was great, load of worry over nothing! When we got onto the bridle track I even had her on a loose rein (big thing for her)!!

She's now happy in her new field with some new friends getting to know each other.

I'm so chuffed with her (and myself a bit!) I'm sitting hear with a big grin on my face.

I know, ive just got to get used to being on a proper yard now instead of a working farm! That'll probably be my next problem post. This morning was a bit like the first day at a new school, I actually asked if it was OK for me to get a glass of water, felt like a bit of a spare part until my friends arrived about an hour later. Planning just to keep my head down and get on with it for a bit

Yay! Was wondering how you'd get on. Pleased to hear it went well. I know what you mean about first day of school, I'm like that too in a new place, espec. as I'm 'just' a sharer. But really people are generally very nice and you should start to enjoy the extra support of horsey types around :-)
