I've just got my planning permission and I'm looking for approx 16 wooden stables. Has anyone used a company they would recommend?

I had a price from Vale Stables which look decent for the price but they haven't got back to me about viewing and I need to order them soon.

I just want basic wooden stables on a budget, can't afford Scotts beautiful ones unfortunately! We are in the North West.

I had Clydesdale stables at my last yard and was really impressed with their service, quality, prices etc. They did all sorts of extras for me like extra-wide stable doors, one stable with double door, etc, with no problems.
Also about a year later a horse damaged the back of 1 of the stables and they were very quick to come out and put it right. With a lot of companies, once they've had your money they couldn't care less what happens, but Clydesdale were excellent. Highly recommended.

I used Redmire and they were and still are great, fabulous guys on site and no problems at all, no leaks nothing. Not the cheapest but I think they do a budget range and great quality.

Thanks peeps! I'll look into those, someone else had recommended Clydesdale thanks Kerilli :-)
re Sheds and Stables they didn't even send my quote as promised!
Really wanted to use Vale Stables but total lack of communication from them really poor show.
It seems I can't give my money away ;-)

Martin at Vale does need pestering but it is well worth it as the quality is fantastic- i had to stalk him for a fortnight but he did come back to me and turned up exactly when he said he would. He said he gets so busy putting up stables/shelters that he just doesnt have time to stay on top of emails etc. I found it best to ring his mobile either first or last thing..
Boys love theirs:

Can i also massively recommend JWS who did my american barn earlier this year- they have been very helpful, i changed the layout twice without being moaned at :) the quality of the materials is superb :)

Thanks very much for posting your pics guys. Will be looking at all you have mentioned.
DDD I have a price for the block and emailed to say if he could arrange a viewing closer to Cheshire then we can order but no reply. I appreciate he is busy but it makes you wonder if they would actually arrive! Your barn looks great BTW :-)

Kit your stables look great I can't wait to get to that stage, been nearly 2 years getting this far! I can't believe how quickly they went up, lovely to wake up Christmas morning with the ponies in the garden :-)
