Just had to take my dog to vets as she started being sich last night after 6 after her tea. (that didnt overly bother me) Then she was sick at 10pm & not looking happy with herself.

Took her outside at midnight & she had a wee & emptied (right end!). Then this morning she was sick at 8.30am.
So deceided that wastoo long to be sick & so rang vets had her in at 9.50am. Bit of discomfort in her tum but he couldn't feel anything. Gave her a couple of jabs & if she is sick again she has to go back in for xrays

So fingers crossed she isn't sick again & tonight I can give her sum boiled rice with scrambled eggs.

Ta so far she has not been sick touch wood. & vet said I had to ring around 1 ish if she was sick. Or if sick tonight when I give her some food then she is to go in. Have got a couple of the hills science tins of food for a couple of days.
Really not looking forward to feeding her if that makes sense as I dont want her to be sick again!? She does need to lose a little bit of weight though.

Maybe she just has eaten something disagreeable? It can take 48 hours to clear it it and often 'starving/ followed by light diet can fix it. Have occasional probs with my lab who will pick up the odd pheasant or rabbit.

She hasn't eaten anything odd though she's been stopping with my Dad who only ever takes her out on the lead so couldnt of eaten anything without him seeing???. She can eat lots of bad things & it doesn't bother her one little bit she has got cast iron guts!! She had a very small bit of food this am not even the size of your little finger & 10min later she was sick, so could be a blockage.
I'm not one of those people that runs to the vets in fact Im the other way round!!
Plus she is so unhappy in herself not comfortable at all.

that hills stuff in those tins work wonders i promise! it doesnt look very pleasant but usually anything will eat it and settles the worst of tummies etc etc. if that doesnt help then i would definately go back to the vets... they may have to do an x-ray or something to rule out blockages:S

She stayed in & had xrays £200 later! She is fine which is all that matters. Yes those hills tins ID are good had them for pup when she had diarrohera for a couple of days & they did the trick!
They xrayed her when she was in luckily she is a top dog & didnt need GA for xray she just stood there! (so that made it a wee bit cheaper!)
She had gastro enteritits xrays showed her stomach & intestines full of gas & an enlarged spleen which in next breath vet said was normal???
But at least she is fit & well again.
Thanks for all your good wishes they did the trick!
