just had mc timoney chiropractor out for the horses

i got a mc timoney chiropractor out for alfie in the end, it turns out that his atlas, poll, some bones in his neck and back and his pelvis were all misaligned. i never knew but you could look at his pelvis from behind and could see how lop sided it was!!

so she put his bones all back into place and has said he needs a day off and then will have to work in straight lines for a while for short periods at a time. and then gradually build up his work.

as for the other horse i ride he had an even more misaligned pelvis than alfie and she says that that is the reason why he had such difficulty striking off on the correct leg in canter on the right rein.

so hopefully now they will both be much better!! i am looking forward to riding them again!!

please could you tell me roughly hwo much a horse chiro charges. think 1 of my mares could do with seeing one.

i was charged £35, but it depends on the chiro and how far they have to travel.
