This might seem like nothing to most of you but it is such a huge deal for me!!!
Had Micah just 3 months now and had to build my confidence very slowly after fracturing my ankle last year. I probably need more surgery so also had to be very careful
As I see the specialist this Thursday I decided I wanted to have a good old go at jumping before I go. So last week or so I started popping the odd little jump Today was supposed to be clear round day but snow cancelled
Anyway indoor had full set of jumps so thought I would just go for it. Didn't even bother to put them down a little like I would have done with my last horse (he stopped a lot!)
WOW OMG Micah is fantastic he jumped everything so long as I didn't allow him to get away from me and on his forehand he just flew. I can't believe it I jumped round there like I had been jumping him for years, Did our first doubles ( a little wobbly) But he was so good., Even a couple of time when he was unsure it was so easy to just gently squeeze and off he went. Oh and I loooove my jump saddle
I have never had a horse that takes you into a jump have always had to push kick an pray, never knowing if last horse was going over or not.
This is so incredible and it was so easy too.
