As title really. I would be interested to hear if it has/hasn't made any difference to your horses hooves and if it did improve them, how long before you noticed any improvement.
My pony is mega fussy and wouldnt eat farriers formula so i used pro feet as it comes in a liquid and i could syringe it into her! but it definatley made a difference to her feet and if i stop it they become brittle and crack upto the nail holes. she now eats the profeet and until she managed to knock her shoe off in a dr lesson on thurs we were doing well :O ah well thats horses eh!
I fed mine farrier's Formula after she had laminitis and she recovered very well and her feet look better after the attack than they did before! No idea if it was the FF but it obviously didnt do any harm!
I used F4F (same composition as FF) after using naf profeet (with good results but F4F pellets easier to feed in summer)
feet noticeably deteriorated so reverted to naf again and feet have been much better ever since (previously tendencies to get very flakey around nail holes.
so profeet for me, though I think all horses react differently.
Bought a job lot of FF a few years ago for home bred with TB feet. Great results, only using Lamilight now as FF difficult to get hold of and too expensive for 2 horses.
Sorry don't know about FF but any of my future horses that have problems with hooves will be on Pro Feet liquid!! It worked the best for the old TB x ID I had on share x
A few years ago I owned a TB with terrible feet - very bad sand cracks. I was advised by my farrier to feed it. Within 5 months I could see a vast improvement and by 9months his feet were perfect.
