just interested ,what do you think of this stallion

Looks like he'd make a great gelding!

I actually think he looks very nice. It's a shame they haven't used better photos, other than the jumping one which is quite impressive.

He looks immature for a 5 year old stallion but if he's not working correctly, he won't build the right muscle anyway. Just guessing.......may be wrong

I would want to see him in the flesh and see him stood up properly and move before I made up my mind.
He is very reasonably priced but I would also want to make sure the owners were experienced with breeding matters too before I entrusted them with my mare.

One to keep an eye on perhaps.

I quite like him, the only thing thats putting me off is his neck. It looks a bit weedy. With the correct work and a bit more muscle I think he would look great.

He's ok, cheap enough but I wouldnt send anything to him.
Maybe when he gets a performance record/has some youngstock out he'd be a more interestinhg prospect!

I saw his grandfather VDL EMILION jumping several years ago with one of the German riders - Ulrich Kirchhoff, on the WC Q circuit, and he was a great animal to watch. Looks like the ugly duckling has the jump after him;)

a) what an amazing pop!!!
b) FABULOUS bloodlines!!!! Emillion is sought after - so I'm told!
c) shocking pictures!! Would def. have to see him in the flesh!!

Doesnt look a bad sort but really he looks like he lacks that masculinity and presence that a stallion should have.

Just to let anyone who is interested know. I actually own UNIQUE R and ORTON LANE TOP TIGER.
The pics shown on horsemart were taken as a just coming 3yr old. They are poor quality and definately need upgrading. If anyone would like to see videos of him moving or jumping then please feel free to email me at ortonlanestud@aol.com especially those of you that don't think he has the wow factor or prescence of a stallion !!!
Unfortunately we couldn't get the videos to upload on the horsemart site.

Just looking through forum site. Can't understand as to why you would bother to email, as if like you say "Don't want to use him" surely wasting your time and mine!

i am fairly new to breeding and like to get feedback from friends on here as to conformation and general opinions on stallions.

the main problem i have is transport so try to use local stallions, which you aren't

the reason i said i would not use him was because although i liked his bloodlines i did not think much to the photos and wanted others opinions,i didn't see that they were old photos
I HAVE EMAILED YOU LOADS OF TIMES AS HAVE OTHERS ON HERE BUT YOU NEVER REPLY

AND !!!
with an attitude like that i now wouldn't want my mare going to your stud anyway.

Horsenut. You fail to understand.. Would you maybe like to put pics of your mare on here and ask people "What do you think, I'm not interested, but thought nice idea for all and sundry to rip my horse apart" Its really not very nice!!!

Apart from family there is nothing horse owners protect more fiercely than their horses.

I fail to see why you are being so rude. Having intially put on your first post, "What do you think, I don't want to use". Then to say I have emailed we shall see!

If you don't want to use a stallion why bother emailing and why bother putting him on here stating as much, unless for a bitching session on someonelse's horse!

Sorry if this offends anyone, but I have clearly stated the pics were taken as a rising 3yr and that if anyone is interested in his very unique bloodlines - ie not just a few good horses but good breeding both sides, then please do get in touch.
We are down to earth people, that say it as it is.

if you have looked at the forum you will see that i often put my horses on here to see peoples opinions.
in fact my mare is on another post now asking advice.

i put that i am interested and if i had really liked him i would have considered maked the journey to him/use him(i di have my mare go up noth last year because i liked a stallion) but you never emailed any more pictures so these were all i could post offering people.
i never slagged your horse off in fact i liked him and i am plesed you are so proud of him he must be worth it.

i did not put him on here for a slagging off session as you put it, but to learn what to look for in a good/bad stallion as i want to breed as good a foal as possible which will complement my mare.
if i am inexperienced and like to ask others opinions and this offends you then sorry but it helps me.
