Quite! He is no longer teeny and pudding like. He's gangly now. Clearly teething too as he's quite taken by the skirting boards, fireplace, carpets, table legs, pine dresser......

ahhhhh .... well i have no advice on the chewing front i'm afraid ... just maybe ... more toys??!?!?!!
All our pups are in the kennel at home when the first arrive, with heat lamp etc and then just as they settle into life ... they meet the others (in the day time that is ...) so pup gets ears/legs/tails of the others to chew on and generally annoy the hell out of!!!
He's intended for working isn't he??

He has more toys than the children. They seem to prefer to "play" with things that aren't theirs. More fun.

Patches you should know that some blue roans do grow up to be mahoosive!
Sweep is the same size as some springers and is the top end of 'cocker' size according to all the vet charts and has mahoosive paws.

Ooo I have a possible giant in my midst!
I won't worry too much as Jasper was also quite big, compared to alot of others. I think that's why people sometimes thought he was a cross.
Harvey's just had a telling off. He will NOT snarl and bite when I try to remove a sweet wrapper (baaad granny dropped it) from his mouth!

Very naughty puppy! I think we're going to have some dominance battles. Good job I already planned to have his bits whipped off. Cannot wait to start puppy training with him as I might need some professional help if he doesn't "grow out of it".
He's not at all submissive, in the way Jasper was. Of course, there are bonuses to him being overly confident....he's happy in his own company. Jasper was a howling wuss when left for even a minute!

He's probably feeling a bit more settled now and ready to try it on - as long as you carry on being fair and consistent with him I'm sure he'll grow out of it
Henry and I had some proper battles when he was settled in but we got through that phase ok in the end!
