sob sob sob
i've just listed my poor darling lorry back on eBay... for those that don't know, i bought a little lorry last month after managing to convince my husband to let me have a little 3.5tonner...
about fifteen seconds after he agreed i could get a lorry, i bought one on ebay... without seeing it etc.
it DIED on the way home, in the middle of the A1... not only was that quite shameful.. but a car pulled up with two young men who said they had 'come to help' but then tried to rob us... luckily my husband is a policeman, and we had a newborn baby with us which scared them off... then the lorry started and we scooted off...
anyway... got the lorry home. and cried for a few days. kicked the lorry every time i walked past it. and refused to even look in it.
my husband fiddled about with the engine, and apparently there was a blockage or something somewhere, so he fixed it. he told me i should drive it off the driveway and down to the stables... i moodily agreed, and drove it down the road to turn around... and i fell in LOVE! it was SOOOOO fun to drive. the driver's seat was bouncy, the engine was noisy... and i couldn't see out of my wingmirrors properly... but woohoo! it was sooo fun!
feeling all revived... i went to load raff in it... and the little fat-head-rat-bag wouldn't load into it, as it's quite small and he likes bigger lorries. he's an ungrateful little monkey.
so, now my husband has agreed we can get a bigger one and we'll do our little test etc. humpf. i guess it's a good thing, and that i should be grateful i'm even getting a lorry. but i'm sad cos i really wanted this little lorry to work out...
oh well, that'll teach me for buying things on a whim on eBay.. before checking all the measurements... tut tut tut.
does anyone know what the eBay rules are about swaps? am i allowed to say i would be open to a swap for a bigger lorry?
