my jockey skull out of the garage. Haven't worn it for a few yrs. It is up to BS 3184. Think I might start wearing it - Do you think JS are safer than other hats on the market??
Has a bit of a mouldy smell to it though

I don't think they're any safer than any other hat to be honest - ultimately it depends on how you fall.

Has it been used much? I still have a hat from about 6 years ago - I know it hasn't been dropped at all and I haven't used it that much. And it's a Charles Owen so it's already the safest (LOL I have just applied for a job with them, can you tell?)

No, my hat has been sat in the garage doing nothing. It hasn't taken any falls.
It seems great except for the yucky smell (mould etc) inside that I am trying to get rid of!!!!

I did have a can of this but it has gone walkabout............

I am wondering if I nip to the supermarket I could get a similar product for disinfecting trainers etc that might work.........
