This is me and my girl jumping at high speed last weekend at Ardingly - we came third in the teams of 3
I was so pleased with her, especially as I think someone on here said that trakehner was on one of the BE courses? She's been doing so well this season, its our first one doing open HT's and so far she's been clear round everything, and placed everytime
Now... I'd love to do BE with her next year (I'll have to spend the winter trying to sort out her flatwork enough to at least be able to do a dressage test!!) but I think judging by her record (and how easily she's been clearing these courses, in fact the bigger the jump the better she's jumping) she should be ready to jump an intro track by next season?
A few more of her jumping this season:
I know none of them are brilliant, but she really is starting to feel like she's doing them easily in the last couple of weeks now she's getting fit again for hunting, so I was just hoping...
Plus when we took her to Brightling she jumped a couple of things that I'm sure must have been BE... a double of rolltop/tables? and a double of what can only be described as raised triangles under some trees? some of the larger telegraph poles on wheels? oh and the (admittadly smaller) ski jump up on the hill next to the folly (do you like my desciptions?!?) anyway, she jumped everything I put her at much to the surprise of my OH who kept looking behind in horror when I kept up and jumped everything he did
So what do you think guys....? Sorry its so long!!
