This is Rebel. He is my pride and joy. I got him when he was just turning 13, from racing and he is now nearly 21. He has had loads of injuries, including both superficial flexor tendons being severely bowed when he broke down racing and he had a fractured leg only 3 years ago. These photos were taken a couple of months ago. I hope you like him.

He is beautiful, I really like his face :D So so pretty
Definitely been through the wars hasnt he, are his legs ok now?
What do you do with him?

Hi
Yes, in addition to the injuries already told, he has also had a broken knee sometime before I got him and had a wind operation as he has a huge lump under his throat, but not exactly sure what has happened.....also got arthritis, but only to be expected at his age.....
He has only ever been lame when he fractured his leg,the tendons have never caused him any problems. I just do some hacking and a bit of prelim dressage on him. Despite him jumping fences when he was racing, he can be relied on to stop dead at a crosspole, so I haven't jumped him for years, after it took me about six attempts to get him round the children's clear round at riding club......

I do love that last pic of you - so happy to be together and you so obviously proud of him and he of himself. Lovely horse.:)
