....as usual (with my posts!) there seems to be some confusion/controvosy and general rubbish going on about how often i ride my horse
crazy.gif

To clarify: I rode him every single day he was being really naughty with me, apart from one, on which i lunged him. He did not at any point have any time off (apart from his usual one day a week which was after a day when he was well behaved previously).

Whatever the headpiece does it has worked well with him and he hasnt done a single naughty thing with me since starting to use this magnet.

I also lent the magnet to a girl on my yard who has very bad tension issues with her horse - her horse went the best she had ever been for her when using the magnet and she is now buying one aswell. Whatever the science is behind it, or how it works i really dont know - im no scientist - but it works for me and for now i am very happy with how my horse goes in it.

A large number of professionals endorse the magnet headpiece so it must be working for lots of other people aswell. I am sure this product wouldnt be on the market if it was dangerous in anyway to the horse. And im sure professionals wouldnt be endorsing them if this was also the case.

People can believe what they want, i simply posted what had happened as numerous people had asked me to let them know how i got on with it.

I don't think you need to justify your actions, if something works for you then why not share it with everyone else, I personally am very interested to hear your progress using the headpiece.

I also dont think you need to justify yourself.
It maybe because you didnt explain everything you did in MINOR detail, but to me, it does seem you get *picked on* or *jumped on* about things.

There is NO scientific evidence that magnets work, but to me, its changed winston completely, so i dont care it works for him, hes sound so BRILLIANT

No need to clarify your actions, you do with your horses what you like and I think it is great that you have come on and let us all know what results you have had. Keep posting your results...... I use one and would recommend it everytime..........

Well i was p*ssed off that it rained all day yesterday as that was my only day for hacking out
mad.gif
I started work early today tho, so i can finish early and go for a hack this arvo instead

I cant believe how cold it was either!!! I was freezing all weekend!!

You don't need to justify yourself. You have a big difficult horse and you are quite right to try everything you can to make him happier and easier. Its not like you are hurting anyone by putting magnets on his head! And if it seems to be working, brilliant!

Thanx hun

I just went back and found it !! xx no didnt think you did xx

I got fed up reading the posts on the previous list after a while - some people don't like things they cannot explain by logic or science.

If it works for your horse I don't see the big problem - you are not hurting him in anyway by using it!.

You have converted me anyway - I'm getting one either for Xmas or with Xmas money and I have recommended it to a friend who's horse is quite tense through the poll.

Please don't let these people put you off updating the people who are actually interested in your progress!!!!
wink.gif

TBH I can't see why people misconstrued your post at all. It didn't say anything about you not riding him??!
confused.gif

Who cares, if it works, it works! I'll be ordering one when I get paid, spent too much already this month!

WTF, i have missed something?????????????? very confused

Tempi - i defo want to know if it works for you and Archie as i'm interested to see if it work for YOU

As for other folks being errrrrrrrrr................. , it's leaves me feeling very confused and highlights that other people DO AND COULD have other agenda's on here. Instead of being a place to exchange different experences, views and thoughts in a reasonable and adult way??

very confused from glos

Hi hun, just read some replies from OP and wanted to add to this post here: keep 'trying and testing' and letting us know
smile.gif

As TimeFaulter said in OP - the fact the science hasn't discovered the reasons for magnets working doesn't mean there aren't any.
I might be wrong but I recall reading about Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) being developed when someone 'played' about with properties and characteritics of magnetic field in living creatures. Now, MRI has been pretty useful, hasn't it??

I hope Archie's angelic state of mind continues

Glad it's till working for you - must admit I had the same attitude as some others on the other thread until I borrowed one to try.

When all is said and done if it works for me and Hugo and you and Archie what does it matter (oh and at least 10 other people I know who swear by them)
grin.gif

Ive read various articles about magnets which have all been really interesting.

i hope his angellic state continues too!! hacking out this afternoon (if the weather is ok!) so we'l see........

We were suggested one may be useful for Goggs as the poor little chap does get abit tense at times..... I did think that it was a bit of a pricey gadget when looking into them, but by you and Archie being our resident HHO 'testers' I will be ordering one next payday!!
Dont pay any attention to any of the minority that love to have a pop at people on here - you know that you put the work into Mr 'my Devil Horns are shrinking' and thats what matters!!
