) thankyou to everyone that has put up with my drivel about Sol , listened to me cry on the phone and PM'd me about her .

A month ago I didnt think I would ever be this happy again with my horse here with me . Things have changed ten times over in the last month and i've been a complete mess .

I've been given another chance , something I never thought would happen and I just want to say thankyou to everyone that has posted a message to me because even if I haven't replied , I've read it an it means alot .


So yes , thankyou again

Nice to hear some good news at last. There have been so many less lucky hhoers just lately.
Please tell all, what's changed?
 
The last post I read was one where your vet had wanted to keep Sol going as a field ornament. Not sure what happened after that but I'm glad to hear you feel happier about things. Those of us that have had horses for many years know that one minute you are up on top of the world the next your down to earth with a bang. They are a real emotional rollercoaster ride but we wouldn't be without them.
 
I've decieded to continue treating her until we see a decline .
She is currently sound and happy and thats all I can ask for

It really is fab news . Am excited to see the vet Saturday as she will have been off the danolin 8 days by then and it should have come out of her system .

My horse is a fighter it seems , she's just doing it to torture me I'm sure

Aw thats great news, I'm really pleased for you and Sol. All credit to you for your dedication and care of her since diagnosis.

On a side note, got the boots today - thanks Ishy for the recommendation.

I think someone on here said it - ''Stop treating her like a past case and treat her as Sol ''

There are no comparisions and we just need to 'go with the flow' on this one . As soon as the treatment doesn't work it will be an 'easy' goodbye . But while she's happy and the sun is shining we are doing well

Oh I am so glad you are feeling happier, you have really been through the mill. I know I would of been in pieces if i'd been through what you have. Onwards and upwards.
