is it possible to feed a horse too many supplements?
When I used to be on livery some horses had a range of oils, powders and granules etc etc in morning and evening feed-can you 'oversupplement' a horse ?

Imo yes, horses bodies just like ours have their tolerances, "but it's all good stuff" some might say, not the point, we all have our upper limits and if these are exceded regulary it can result in Kidney disorders such as stones etc, Diarrhea & so on, Supplements should only be given when a Deficiency has been identified and a way forward can then be sort by way of an inclusion to their diet.

most defintly yes -with humans and horses - with most horses a good diet of fibre( definitly best hay you can buy as works out cheaper in long run ) with a general supplement would be good - ok this changes if in hard/competition work. But Im firm believer that "less is more" and seems to suit lass to lol :) xxx
