how much damage will 4 weeks grazing and no excercise do to a pony? fat wise i mean

she's already, shall we say, rotund?

Depends on the time of year. the grass will be very rich coming May. If you plan to put a pony out now on poor grazing it will just maintain itself (native type). If the grass is good grazing about (4-7cm high now) and this weather keeps up your pony with look very well covered in four weeks. (really depends on the ponys condition now). How big is the field it will be in, any more details?

i'm jsut wondering how much work she'll need in the summer

seeing as i'm her main exerciser

they are away just now to said field and are back in 4 weeks

i didn't organise any of it, YO did but she's not really a YO seeing as its a rescue centre not a stable lol.
field will be a reasinable size though because there's 5 of them in it and YO is not one for cutting on space lol.

well about 6 weeks after they come back, summer holidays start and that means riding whenever dad will take me up!
