My friend and I have booked into one of her talks next week at Harper Adams in Shropshire and just wondered if anyone had had any experience of her?? Or been to/is going to one of her workshops/talks?? I've only heard good things so far
The talk/seminar is about understanding horses' behaviour etc. I've been reading up ALOT lately, Mark Rashid books mainly and am really interested in finding different ways to work with the horses. I generally read/get advice etc on a brand spectrum of things and then take the bits I feel comfortable with or I feel will work for my boys but lately I just feel like I need to know more lol.

I have no direct experience (that I remember - maybe I saw her talk many years ago!), but she is a well respected behaviourist by the behaviourists I do have direct experience of.

I went to see one of her workshops in Hampshire a couple of years ago and realised my horse was in pain after seeing the studies she talked about. it was really interesting. My vet had said was sound so I got a second opinion and found he had kissing spine.

Ah yeh she's amazing. A great speaker, really interesting, passionate, and applies her knowledge to the individual - not at all prescriptive/bossy. And as others have said really well respected too. I would recommend her to anyone! let us know how it goes!

I went to an evening talk by her and yes it was very interesting. Quite a bit I found was things that I do which had occurred to me as sensible and it was interesting to understand why they were a good idea. There was some research she talked about which was how horses sleep on different bedding.

I went to a talk by Justine about equine body language at Kelsall equestrian centre last night. Very interesting and she is an excellent speaker, really knows her stuff and she kept the 2 hour talk interesting.

Just to update for anyone interested.
Excellent talk, really enjoyed it. Slot was stuff I already knew but lots to think about too. I have sooooo many more questions now though lol ?
Well worth the £22 if anyone has a chance in their area
