My two year old has some, which have come up on her muzzle, very quickly within a week. I have never experienced this before. Reading up vet books, advice is leave alone they should go away in four months and also 'isolate' as this is a virus which could spread.
As she is two and her companion is a three year old who we will start backing this autumn. I am concerned. I don't see how I can isolate her for four months but she can stay with her dam. I don't want the 3 year old to contract them just as we start training.
Is there any treatment?
