K*ty lake or Mark Todd boots?

As the title says really...just wondering which people prefer? Can't afford dubarrys...the money goes on the horses instead!! Did think Dublin river but seen quite a few bad reviews on them and know a couple of people who have them and the inside ripped quite quickly! So just wondering which people prefer/think is the better quality?

I had a pair of Mark todd - lasted just 6 weeks before the lining all fell out, made for the fashion market, not a work boot at all. Look at Tuffa.

I've had 2 pairs of the k*ty ones, really comfy & good for the price, I think. Each lasted about a year. They're fine if you just want a general pair of yard boots, but don't really stand up well when you live in mudsville!

Thank you both, looks like it's the k*ty lake ones then just want a pair that I can wear when we go to the races don't look too scruffy and for general yard wear! Thankyou

Have you looked at hkm belmonds? I use them as everyday yard boots mud and all and they last well!

I killed my Dubarry's by not cleaning them properly so bought a cheap pair of K*ty boots to break instead - well it worked, they lasted about 6 months. Save your money and don't bother!
