Kanteq Beta label question

Hi

I have a Kan BP. It has a BETA 2000 label on it but I understand that Kan now have BETA 2009 - which are needed for BE.
Do you have to buy a whole new cover at £85 to get an upgraded 2009 label that meets current BE rules?

It isn't the cover you need to upragde - its the entire BP I'm afraid. The newer Kans are BETA 2009 compliant. Shopping time I'm afraid....

That’s not correct. OP you will need a new cover but that’s it. The BP has been tested as 2009 compliant.
 
You live and learn - and I am always happy to be corrected. I'm surprised Kan haven't made more of this -or indeed BHS or BETA. I couldn't find anything to this effect on the Kan website - but I did find this report from something called Farm Week dated mid December 2017 https://farmweek.com/kan-body-protectors-prove-their-worth/ I suppose it is better for business if people believe (as I did) that you have to replace the BP and not just the cover.

Farmweek (and the bit at the back which is Horseweek) is essential reading in Northern Ireland!! :D

I've always found Wendy's website a bit disappointing and unhelpful, but Wendy herself is lovely to deal with.
