So have been trawling the threads on here on body protectors and am really interested by the Kans but had two questions first.

I will have to order it on the internet as no stockists in France, so how is the fit for those with smaller boobage? :o A B cup if I'm optimistic/bit fat, A cup really. Oh the trials of a pear-shape :D

Also do the sides come up high under the arms? I broke some ribs earlier this year including right by my armpit so am paranoid about them being protected. My current bp is only a level 2 (only for sj and young horse) but I do feel like it protects that part of me really well:

The armhole just looks quite large on the photos of the Kan, just need some reassurance.

Thai food and water if you got this far (I already ate dessert, sorry!)

I'm flat-chested and I have a Kan - they do them in normal sizes and then slightly smaller sizes for shorter bodies/smaller boobs (which is what I have, I think it;s a T1 or T2 or something similar, I'm 5'6", size 8/10 top half). I love mine and would never wear anything else. I wear mine for all hacking, jumping and XC. I came off on a jump and landed on my side so I think it did protect my ribs to a decent extent.

Double ditto: they have a shape that works for smaller boobage and if you try it and it's not quite right Wendy will be very amenable to helping you get it right / change it. I really like mine :)

Another Kan lover :D I landed on and plastic XC fence in mine, landed on my side with my arms up (still holding horse) so pretty squarely on my ribs. Managed to break the fence, but feel a thing!
Plus, lovely Wendy heard about it and rang to check I was okay! Customer service taken to another level I think :D

just to go against the grain - i wanted to love them, same build as you... tried several sizes, spoke to them and had various adjustments - detested the damned thing, huge waste of time, sent it back. Love my racesafe however:D Also find the airowear outlyne comfy.

I can see how they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. I feel really protected and comfortable in mine but it's a very different feeling BP from a Racesafe...

Thanks for the replies, just wanted a few opinions - always worrying spending so much money online. I like to feel that I'm wearing my bp as am paranoid! So hopefully I'll be OK! thanks again
