Just wondering as these have crept up on a few posts on here now are the Kanyon Ash Country Boot any good?

Tried a pair on today in my local tack shop and I quite like them but wondering if they are OK to ride in and how they wear.

I have had two pairs of Toggi Heritage 1 lasted me 3.5 years the others just under 2 the sole never wore but they have sagged to the point of being uncomfortable and the material inside has worn which the first pair didnt do.

Who rides in their kanyons and do you have any worrys about the general wear to them?

Thanks.

I have them and love them!

I dont wear mine to the yard because I dont want to trash them.

My mum wears hers to the yard and has ridden in them and said they are ok!

I previously had Dubarrys and didnt like the look of any of the cheaper types.

You shouldn't ride in the Ash as the sole is too thick, look at the Gorse Rider instead. We sell them & they outsell Toggi etc any day of the week!

PS - love them!

Bought a pair.

So far ridden in them twice and walked 8 miles in them today. Very comfortable, kinda see what you say about the sole but I am used to riding in timberlands/ toggi heritage and I only hack.

So far so good, have to say generous calf on them.

I used this site for looking at options as I too was looking at dubarry ones but couldn't bear to pay that much... I went to try them on today but as I have wide calves the standard ones just didn't fit and they only did the extra wide ones only came in the walnut brown which wasn't so keen on. Tried the Kanyon ones instead and I have to say I loved them!!! Bought them and worn this afternoon to walk the dog in awful weather. So comfy and warm and really pleased with my purchase especially as they were £139 instead of £299!!! Bonus!! Feel excellent quality, maybe even more so than the Dubarry!!!

I wear mine virtually all day for work and stables.. I've not ridden in them though.. Very comfortable and support my poor fibro ridden lower legs better than anything else I've worn in the last 18 months
