We are thinking of putting our yearling colt on to Karron Oil to improve his coat shine and perhaps also to build a slight amount of additional cover on him - he is an athletic sports horse type, but is looking very slighty too "ribby" at the moment, we think, although he's not very far off ideal weight. He currently gets 2/3rds scoop of Alfa A + 2 measures of Baileys Stud Balancer daily, and is out 24/7. The grass is abundant and quite long in the field where he's turned out, but probably not very good quality.

As he will be going to a show and then the Futurity in July we'd like him to be looking at his best .... has anyone used Karron Oil with their youngsters, and any feedback on whether it helped to increase shine and condition?

H is on Kentucky Karon Oil - has been for about 3 months. His coat is fabulous! All the mares at work are on it, as are the yearlings that have started prep.

CosmicBlue, are you based in Ireland? Haven't found a stockist in the UK as yet, but having found the TRM website I really like the sound of some of their other products as well. If you are in the UK, where do you get your Carron Oil from?

Nope sunny surrey lol.
any tackshop should be able to get hold of it if they have the right accounts! It's available from the wholesalers Farm and Stable supplies or Battles so have an ask of your local shops.
It's easy to get hold of just no-one stocks it.
