She's connected to Billy Stewart so ask as many questions as you can think of. That said, there's some nice horses have come from her - depends on your budget I think!!!

I bought my horse from her and he's amazing (not just saying that coz he's mine!) he has wonderful manners, safe to hack, hunt etc.. she was totally open about him and explained to me about their return policy, and what to do if I wasn't happy with my purchase. Best of all, I paid way less than what he is worth as I traced his sj record in holland. Not sure if she is still connected with billy stewart?

Like all dealers you'll get mixed review - I've heard good and bad about her but no experience myself.

Yes I bought my horse from her last year.
Again not just being biased to my horse - he is a total gentleman (and he was only 6 when i bought him), exactly what I wanted.
I found Kate to be very helpful and would go to her again.
I saw there were nice horses on her site at the moment.
With any seller just have your wits about you I guess.

Showing my ignorance here. Who is Billy Stewart? Have never heard of him. We bought from Kate years ago and were delighted with her service and more importantly the horse. That was when she was down in Leics.

Billy Stewart is a well known dealer up her in Scotland. Has been in business a long time and his partner/girlfriend is Kate Bunting.

Kate Bunting here, thought i may aswel join in the topic discussing me and my business.
Buying and selling horses is my business, i am a horse dealer and i am proud to be as such.
I often check the web to see what is happening out there, and i am glad i have joined this discussion, i hope you all dont mind.
If anyone has got any questions or queries about me or my business, please feel free to ask and i will be more than happy to answer any questions.
For those who have previously bought from myself. - thank you very much for the business and i truely hope you are happy with the horses!
For those who have not and said they would not buy from me, - i feel that is unfair, as many of you judge me, yet have never delt with me and know me or how my business works.
I import quality horses from all over Europe and Ireland, and many of them have gone on to great success, some have simply gone to enjoy hacking and leisure riding homes, many gone to riding club homes, and some gone to high level competition homes, "Rayef" partnered by Laura Collett won individual and team gold at the european championships in eventing last year, i imported that horse from the continent to name but a few.
Yes, there are many a rouge horse dealer out there, but i am not one of them.
I treat every horse that comes in to my yard as if they were my own private horse, and each and everyone is exactly described when sold - i am simply making a living as each of you do.
I am very passionate about my business, and am very defensive of every horse i sell, purely because i would never of paid good money for them, imported them at a cost and put my reputable name to any of the horses if they were not good quality sound horses.
To ISH_Mad, thank you for your kind, honest comments, and i would love to know which horse you bought from me?

I presume out of those 6 niknkia u refer to in two threads will include my own. Dont class it wise to bad mouth others peoples horses in public and class them as unsuitable and not sound in body or mind and think its a way round by not naming them. Word of mouth gets back and sadly took someone else to draw me to this.
I can say as the owner 2 horses from kate that they are sound in body and mind and I havent had an issue with them except baby growing up general normal horsey issues sadly an injury of soft tissue with one which has nothing to do with the dealer.
Kate has been open and available for any discussion I wanted.
The horses that are unsuitable and not sound in body or mind are pictured below. I'm more then happy with them.

I have one of Nooksters horses on full loan, and went with Nookster many times to Kate. The boy I have at the moment is amazing. I was so dubious about riding him at the yard as he looked rather spiritly however Kate was great and gave me alot of confidence at the viewing,even hacked him up the road. My boy came home within a week and never looked back since. Both him and Voltan are brilliant boys and are a dream to look after.... well most of the time their horses at the end of the day
Odin means the world to me and he's came exactly how Kate described him.... even though now Kate he's grown in every since direction. Over 17hh and filling out a 7 foot rug.
Words can't describe him to be honest, he's a dream horse. He's got so much potential, even vet commented on his floating paces, can jump like a stag and has even got me jumping with a smile on my face. He really has done Kate proud

Hi all ive been reading some of the comments on Kate Bunting.....Have u bought from her? Whats her relationship to Billy Stewart is? Is she connected to Billy Stewart? etc etc......personally unless you have bought from Kate i dont think u have any need to comment about horses she's sold, her private life or her connection to anyone?? Obviously with some of your comments, you's must not have enough going on in your own sad little lifes?!?!?! I really dont think that these unfair comments have anything to do with the horses she sells for a start, and secondly fair play to the lass for trying to make an honest living! Shes openly came onto the forum to answer any questions which for me says it all! Open and honest....well done Kate!

We are all entitiled to an opinion it is a free world after all.
I wouldnt buy from her and thats my opinion. If someone asks a question then you can answer it whether or not the person likes the answer is up to them.

You rode voltan on a number of occasions and you never complained then were in fact extremely happy to ride him so you can see my confusion to read your opinions now and feel they lie with your dislike for me rather then the poor animals.

By all means you can dislike someones horse dependent on their owner thats fine as you said its a personal opinion. But to disregard a dealer due who has bought from them isnt very wise when you have never purchased yourself from them.
