Nice? Good quality? I'm umming and ahhing over taking the plunge on a new double, and I quite like the Kate Negus International. Any views on them? How do they fit? Or should I go for a Passier (same price)?

I've not had one myself but saw them at badders on the tradestand and they looked really nice. I've heard lots of good things about them

I've got 2 bridles & several pairs of Kate Negus reins which I love! Exceptionally good quality and the full size fits my warmbloods nicely. They will also mix & match to help you get the perfect fit.

Fantastic bridles i have about 8 of them now !!! ooops each horse has their own for home and shows - some have one brown for jumping and a black for dressage !!!

the lady there is really nice and yes she will mix and match !!

Ive had one of my bridles for 10 years now - ok so i only use it at home but its still fantastic condition !!!

I normally find i need a large noseband and browband but cob size cheek pieces !!! or if your horse has a small head like on of mine a cob will do !!!

The reason I am looking at them is that they do the cob cheekpieces, as my horse is usually somewhere between a cob and a full depending on the make. And he always needs an x-full browband.

Thanks for the recommendations!

I bought my Welsh D's double at Olympia about 8 years ago and it is a lovely bridle a little tight on size I thought, but always comes up lovely when cleaned

Beautifully made and get better with age IMHO. A fr#iend brought one which to start with i wasnt overly keen on, nice but nothing great. Now I love it, the leather is so soft and supple and looks sooo smart

Oooh! I wanted to buy a nice drop nose band but they didn't have a picture in their catalogue or online.. any chance of a pic? :P

I was going to ask her to make me an elasticated standing martingale at badminton but she was so rude I thought I'm not giving her any of my money.

My local tackshop made me mine out of my (cheap as chips sale) jeffries S M..I refuse to pay any money for these 'attachments' that make me look like a wannabe junior bsja-er..
sorry random

They are lovely, clean up really nicely mine have been abandoned and abused for 8 years and still look as good as new. The fact you can mix and match is fab as well

I have three Kate Negus bridles and they are fantastic . I have been able to mix and match between an extra full headpiece, cob cheek pieces, and full noseband and browband to get the best fit for my horse. The leather is beautiful and soft and Julia Andrews is really helpful. I also have other leather work from them which is just as lovely. Their new grand prix bridles have the headpiece which allows the noseband to do up on both sides so there is little or no poll pressure. I have one of these and they fit really well and are really soft and padded. Sorry for the essay, but I love my bridles so like to talk about them.
