Katie Price - Daily Mail

its not your imagination. *waves at katie* just in case she is here reading! Love katie and am dying for her to trot up a center line near me soon

I never used to like her (no offence if she is reading!) But she's really grown on me, I always said she looked much better toned down when riding and it's great to see she is focusing on this image now as opposed to the plastic barbie type (for want of a better description!!)

Wish her the best of luck, even though I am also a tad jealous.........

I imagine KP would be pretty peed off at that article - with 3 figures in the horse world stating she definitely won't go to the Olympics, and that "Anybody can sit on a good horse and do tricks, whereas it takes time to develop a good seat and hands."

It might be positive overall about her effect on the profile of the sport, but it certainly doesn't applaud her skills as a rider in any way.

Why should it?
How many people knew Carl Hestors name before he started to win big classes?
Good luck to her and everyone else working their way up the levels, but for gods sake would people stop making a huge fuss over nothing?

Naughty to pinch the article though

Well given that she is effectively a novice with a lovely if not experienced horse (that I saw at HOYS) I think she can't expect to go to the Olympics, and I'm sure she doesn't! I was impressed by her demo to be honest, something I hadn't expected to be! Her horse was a bit naughty but Katie calmly sat there and didn't let it escalate, she got on with her job and did it well I think! Changed my opinion of her as a rider to be honest!

It shouldn't. I don't for one moment think she deserves any particular acclaim for her skill as a rider, but from reading interviews with her, she has said a lot of times that she seriously intends to compete at the next Olympics.

However laughable an idea that might seem to a majority of people, I don't think KP would be too thrilled at this article which basically dismisses her as someone bringing a bit of fluff and attention to the sport.

Jordan's Glamour Girl is a PSG level horse I think, so well schooled enough!!

KP has said several times she fully intends to compete at the Olympics so I'm only repeating what she herself has said!

The comments on that article are pretty funny.... going on about Jennie Loriston-Clarke being really jealous!
I thought that everyone was actually really kind in that article...

Maybe she's chums with Princess Haya, and that's why the entire committee are being wiped out, to be replaced with a junta of Jordan fans.....

nothing seems impossible any more.

Strictly Come Dancing on horseback? <shudder>

everyone has to start somewhere , i cant comment on her riding skills as have never seen them but if she is that determined she will get as close as she can if not in the olympics like she throws her everything into most things she does and seems good at it so i think we should watch this space, stranger things have happened
