I presume this scheme does not apply to boys.
I was looking for reasonably priced Men's breeches for 15 yo son which he needs for next week (late sub in PC team, not bad planning). Tried Derby House stand & it was all pink KP stuff. Asked a member of staff where the mens stuff was and they had NONE. OH said "Men ride too you know" so she said but they hardly ever wear breeches". I pulled myself up to my full 5'1"& said "Tell that to William Fox-Pitt" (Not that he's my son!).

I saw her, Peter Andre parked next to us! She nearly got kicked by one of the police horses when she was having her pic taken outside the Derby House Stand.

Why on earth would you think this user was paid to say that? I have seen NanaHarley make lots of interesting posts- I think you are all jumping to the wrong conclusion

Thankfully I did not see either her or Peter Andre.

I have listened to the interview though and it has just confirmed that she is a total moron. OK she want to bring colour to the horseworld and is making out that she is the first to do so - tell that to Joules, Los, Blaze, Musto et al. As for her Olympic comments, having watched her ride, she needs to know that money does not talent buy!

I do think Derby House may find they have misjudged the market - surely somewhere like Olympia indoors would have been a better place to launch her range - as the pink bling might be more appealing to children and showjumpers than a more country set at Burghley - and pink and a sea of mud didnt really go!

Whatever anyone thinks of KP her great love of horses is evident. No, i wasn't paid to write this, but i am a great admirer of her. She is a female Harvey Smith - outspoken and controversial, and she always makes the news. The saying 'any publicity is good publicity' is quite true. Those horselovers of a certain age will remember how well-known Harvey Smith was, he became a household name to unhorsey folk too. I believe KP is only trying help to raise the profile of horseriding being available to all and not just to a priveledged few, as equestrianism is still mistakenly perceived by the general public.

I looked at the range and was so disappointed. ALL pink (I have nothing against pink but all the time?), ALL overpriced and nothing that I would want to wear down at the stables. And I agree, Joules did it first!!! Just another money spinner.
I am not in any way denying that KP is a shrewd business woman - Im not a fan, but she knows how to make money so fair play to her!

Interest? Really? Shock horror more like - I mean to say PINK VELOUR for God's sake! She seems to be on a mission to chavify us!

I do think she is a good business woman, the money she has earned has proved that. From her comments in her interview however, she gives the impression that horsey people are dull and wear dull clothes, if she had said that she wanted to change people's perception of horsey people I would have had more respect for her, but no, she said she wanted to change horsey people by adding some colour to their and their horses' lives, well heeeeeelllo that has already been done and we don't all wander around in brown and green and our horses already have multicoloured wardrobes!

I'm sure that plenty of interest was shown in Peter Sutcliffe and Fred and Rose West, presumably you are of the opinion that no publicity is bad publicity. The controversy is caused by people making ridiculous statements about her, equating her with people who were at the top of their sport, as if somehow she has any talent other than displaying her surgically enhanced mammary glands!

shw was watching the end of the cross country in the stands. Not exactly subtle in her pink jacket, white trousers and a policeman right next to her!
