Did anyone else see it?
Just seen the interview with her and she does make me laugh, she does seem a down to earth type of person, like you could crack open a bottle of wine with and have a good gossip!! She said she has just got a stallion and called him Andre and she rode Glamour girl what a gorgeous horse.
Thought she did well...

I thought she did really well too!
Some of that work looked really good. Well done Katie

Agree with the above comments. I was there and considering the atmosphere in that arena with the lights, music and cheering she did really well. How many other relative novices would have the bottle to do it? Hats off.

Still cant stand the woman HOWEVER bloody well done Katie....it takes a lot of guts to go under those lights and to give that a go after only 4 months is a real credit to anyone.

Love her or hate her, she did a BLOO0DY good job, and comparing that to the Prelim test I saw on youtube, she has come a long way!! Way to go Katie! And well sat when Glamour Girl went a bit mad!

That woman has some serious determination and guts

Is it on youtube yet??? I wanna see!

Katie does annoy me sometimes - I DO NOT need to know any more about her surgery or Petes and her sex life! But, I admire her for what she has done - she certainly has some balls!!

Well done Katie

Hi there,
I quite like Katie Price. I think she doesn't often give a flying fish about what is said about her, and to be fair she does often get bad press and she never lets it affect her.... However I have to admit I wasn't overyly impressed with her display... OK she has just started dressage and has only been doing it for the last four months but she was on a sh*t hot horse and does have lessons from Andrew Gould - that's not normal practice at least not for me. I think she did really well, it's an electric atmosphere but I wasn't impressed...!

I like KP, despite the fact that I am not overly keen on pink!!! I did not see her display today, but ditto all above on her bravery.

I can't imagine ever wanting or being capable of doing that in an arena so full of people, esp seeing as I would imagine several people there watching would have been waiting for her to balls up bigtime.

I think fair play, she has made her own money and does what she wants with it. She is a very clever businesswomen, and I think a lot of people who don't like her are suffering an attack of the green eyed monster. (not reference to any posters above by the way

CRINGE.
Why run before you can walk. That is so not what dressage is about. There is more to it than performing the "tricks", badly.

But it must have taken real guts to go and do that, surely??? What is dressage about, at the end of the day??? is it only for the select "few"???? Hats off to her for having the balls to go i there and do it.... it must have been absolutely terrifying...

Apparently so after some of the posts on HHO lately! As long as she can canter...........

But we know she has guts and likes the limelight so why are people shocked she wouldn't be able to do something like that?

Dressage is primarily about harmony between horse and rider, and the rider makes the horse (unless someone else has made it for you!) You can dress a performace up with glitz and celeb, but unless the basics are there everything else is just ugly. A well executed walk and trot test is nicer to watch than badly ridden GP!

But I do think Andrew Gould is fab and for his sake, I hope she does well!

Just shows that all you need is money, and yes, I am bitter!

I would love to pay a large sum of money from a bottomless pot for Andrew Gould to be my personal trainer and horse finder, rather than wasting 20 years being taught. Horsey people know that it is all a bit of fun and I'm all for everyone having a go, but it comes across a bit cheap and easy to non horsey people. I having nothing against her but feel there are more deserving people for the HOYS demo.

I only caught the last few minutes of it and it did look a bit messy, but hey good luck to her. I did think she would have looked better if she had been wearing a shirt and stock under her jacket.

sorry, am i going senile, I am sure i saw her a couple of years ago when her first show with peter came out, there was loads of stuff with her mum and what she used to do before the 'glamour' days, she has always ridden, but there were also films of her in her younger days doing dressage tests and quite well, i remember because she did look into taking it a lot further (before she realised how lucrative tits and @rse could be) She has deffinatley got a lot more dressage history tan 4 months.

EXACTLY what I think. And I dont give a crap about how it "took guts to do it" - Im sorry but if any one of us where given that opportunity, we'd do it in a second. Theres no guts about it!

I saw it last night - I think you can clearly tell that she's not been doing it for long - the horse is doing a lot of the work and shes a bit of a passenger BUT hat's off to her for dong it and for having the ambition! You could clearly see that she was very nervous but handled it well - it obviously means a lot to her and she did a hell of a lot better than I would.

Yeah but isnt there that hint of "green eyed monster" here because she's been given the opportunity - through being famous and rich to have a go - and you havent?? Put yourself in her shoes - what are you going to do, - walk away and say no thanks??? I very much doubt it! If you were in her shoes you would exactly the same as she's done.

With her money and the fact she can have as much training as she likes plus go out and buy whatever horse she desires I'm not suprised she can go and do whatever she did at HOYS. Sadly there are many people who are not 'elitist' but work f*****g hard daily at competing when we can on horses that havn't cost the earth and no it doesn't take guts to go out into the limelight when you've been in it as much as she has.
Jealous! Yes I am! However she seems to try and paint alot of dressage riders as snobby and old fashioned, well I hate pink!!!!!!!
