Katie price...

I think the cartier polo people have been horrendous by doing this...such complete and utter snobbery! The China Whites evening do is generally full of toffs who have no idea about horses anyway!
I am not a massive KP fan as Jordan (but maybe that my female jelous side lol!)...but when she is actually KP she does talk sense and she is a good horse woman. Cartier Polo have shot themselves in the foot a bit here I feel, and they should know that KP is not going to let them forget it either.
 
I agree - and i am not her biggest fan at all. Polo seems to be trying to keep its upper class image which won't do the sport any favours in the long run.
 
There is a thread about this in SB too. TBH I think she (and everyone else) has blown this "Polo is snobby" thing out of proportion especially as she wasn't actually refused entry to the Polo but to the VIP area of the Chinawhites nightclub marquee. But then I suppose "I was refused entry to a nightclub" doesn't have quite the same ring to it and is unlikely to generate as much public symapthy/outrage...
 
Deap down under all that heavy makeup (which she really does not need, she's naturally beautiful!) under all that pink tacky clothing and the 'I don't give a b*llocks' type of attitude...oh and huge chesticles.... there is a woman with passion for horses and enjoys her sport/hobby and think its a shame that people are treating her like she doesn't deserve to have horses or the chance to do well and disapprove of her wanting more involvement and to be taken seriously.

I quite like her but, after seeing her dressage video, she's got 'all the gear but no idea'. ~ducks and prepares to get blasted for that comment!!!~

Completely agree. Katie Price is brilliant IMO and I reeally hope my stepmum will get tickets to HOYS to see her dressage demo!!!!

Got to admit whether you love or hate her it is she is one subject that gets us all talking (or typing!!!) That has got to be a good thing in itself.

She's not awful is she but she's no natural horsewoman and she certainly doesn't have that look you acquire by having started as a child, as she claims to have done. I need to stop bi#$*ing though and go and do something constructive!!!
 
Hhhmmmm...just watched the vid- you would have thought she would have learned to keep her hands still if she's been riding all that time...my 5 year old daughter has a better seat than her ( although obviously she is not weighed down by CHESTICLES!!!) - sorry, think thats hilarious

Ok I've found the problem here with her riding, first of all, she needs a proper horse riders ass, more padding to fill up that seat and more weight to hold her down, however I'd would kill for her legs and buttocks!

The Babbylons are obviously going to tip her off balance and unsteady the hands and the upper body ...again I'd kill for a pair of puppies like that but if she had a nice pair of thunder thighs and a big ass like mine, it would help to steady her upper half.

On a serious note, yes I agree she's not got a 'good seat' and looks little lost, but I think that might be also do to with nerves and all, still credit where its due, I recon she will of improved a hell of a lot since then, she a determined woman...if not then I'll eat my words next time she has a public outing.

If she wants to be accepted in that world she needs to stop being so ridiculous with some of the other statements - ie the name of her horse.

I'm working class and have been in certain places that people like Katie just won't be accepted. IT's not about being someone you're not it's just being able to behave like an adult and know how to conduct yourself in public.

Unfortunately, Katie doesn't seem to be able to do this!
 
I don't understand why they never let katie into Chinawhites?? I was there on sunday and so was so many drunken toft's who showed their-selfs up more than katie would have done!!! may be..... and Prince Charles went home after the game, no other royal's there. I would have loved to see her there, anyhow she goes to Chinawhites in London.
 
I was chatting to someone who regularly attends polo matches and was at Cartier, she thought that turning Katie away was probably just done for publicity, she said some of the women who regularly attend a lot of these polo matches are so chavvy, it's not so upper class as you would think.

I'm not a big Katie Price fan but I do admire her for having the balls to give dressage a go. I read in the paper today that she's been invited to perform a dressage test at HOYS!! Can't really see the point of that, she might be a big name but wouldn't most horsey people rather see a top dressage rider?!
